Booking a session is easy—simply contact us through our website, email, or phone to check availability and discuss your session details. We’ll help determine whether a lifestyle location session or a studio portrait session is the best fit for your goals. A booking fee is required to reserve your date.

The booking fee is $300 for both studio and location sessions. It includes one high-resolution digital file of your choice from your proof gallery and a $200 credit toward prints and other products. Additional digital files and product packages are available for purchase.

Our sessions are available by appointment so we can provide each client and pet with dedicated attention. Please contact CONNIE COLLUM STUDIOS to discuss current availability and schedule your session.

Wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. For a modern, fine art look, solid colors, simple textures, and coordinated outfits photograph beautifully. If you’d like, CONNIE COLLUM STUDIOS can also help with styling suggestions.

Session lengths vary depending on the type of shoot. Portrait sessions typically last 45 minutes to an hour, while location sessions can take 1-1.5 hours. We are flexible and patient to make sure your pet is not stressed and sees the session as a happy adventure.

Most proof galleries are available within 2-3 weeks. Rush processing may be available upon request. You may choose your digital file and $200 in prints/products, (included in your booking fee), from the proof gallery images. Your proof gallery will be available for you to view online for a limited time, or you may schedule a studio visit to select your images.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule for another day. Location sessions are confirmed as "weather permitting" and will be rescheduled if the weather prevents a successful shoot. We will re-schedule at the soonest possible date that works with both the client and photographers schedule.

We serve all of Central Alabama including: Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Trussville, Moody, Gardendale, Fultondale, Helena, Chelsea, McCalla. Venues greater than 40 miles from Hoover may incur an additional travel fee. We are also open to destinations outside of central Alabama with additional small travel fees. Inquire with us if you are outside our immediate service area.
